PLAYER MOVEMENT
St Therese's Netball Club has implemented a grading policy to ensure that the grading of players and teams is conducted fairly based on a player’s ability, skill level and attitude. Grading is carried out to establish the number of STNC teams to compete in the Parkville competition. Grading is compulsory for all players wishing to be selected to play for STNC. Grading does not however guarantee you a spot, although we try our very best to accommodate everyone. A player must make every effort to attend practical grading.
Grading Committee & Criteria:
A grading sub-committee will be appointed with a minimum of 2 STNC Committee representatives and an external examiner, if possible. Grading will be standardised specific criteria:
The grading sub-committee will endeavour to conduct a fair and equitable process, with the objective to produce a balanced team taking the grading criteria into account.
Players and parents are asked to be reasonable and objective in their expectations and to encourage positive reactions to team selections.
